Mezuzah-Sephardic scroll 10 cm
According to halacha (Jewish law), it is important that every entrance and doorway of a house has a mezuzah. While mezuzah boxes can be of any style, it is important that the parchment be perfectly hidden. To do this, opt for a klaf written by a sofer (Jewish scribe) who has taken care to meet all halachic requirements (in accordance with Jewish laws).

Protect your home with this Klaf made by an Israeli sofer stam
This is the parchment (klaf) that must be placed inside the mezuzah boxes. It contains the Jewish prayer, the Shema Israel, which begins with the phrase: “Hear, O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One”. The mezuzot are placed on the front doors of Jewish homes to fulfill the biblical commandment to proclaim the Shema “on the doorposts of your house and on your gates”.
Once installed, the Mezuzah scroll protects the family members who live under that roof, both physically and spiritually. Therefore, it must be clearly written by hand by a professional scribe (Sofer) on a kosher animal parchment.
To be kosher, a mezuzah must be written on kosher animal parchment. The parchment must have been explicitly prepared for use as a holy object. The words must be written by hand by an expert scribe who is well versed in the intricacies of writing and its laws. Even the ink and quill are custom made to meet the necessary requirements.
The scrolls offered on the LevJudaïca website are in accordance with the Halakha and have been scrupulously checked.
