What is a talitt
The Talith is a prayer shawl worn by men of the Jewish faith during prayers in synagogue. Jewish men who pray alone are also required to put on a talit. It is a mitzvah that is mentioned in the Torah (Old Testament) and the Talmud, a tradition of Judaism that the entire Jewish community must observe.
