Protect your home with this Klaf made by an Israeli sofer
This is the parchment (klaf) that must be placed inside the mezuzah boxes. It contains the Jewish prayer, the Shema Israel, which begins with the phrase: « Hear, O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One ». The mezuzot are placed on the front doors of Jewish homes to fulfill the biblical commandment to proclaim the Shema « on the doorposts of your house and on your gates ».
Once installed, the Mezuzah scroll protects the family members who live under that roof, physically and spiritually. Therefore, it must be clearly written by hand by a professional scribe (Sofer) on a kosher animal parchment.
The parchments offered on the LevJudaïca website are in accordance with the Halakha and have been scrupulously verified.
