Painted blessing on a hamsa stand with a representation of Jerusalem
The city of Jerusalem is more than just a geographical location: it represents the unbreakable bond that unites the entire Jewish people. It was here that the Temple of Jerusalem was erected, and the only remnant of it is the Kotel.
The Jewish blessing (blessing of the house) is undoubtedly the most popular brakha in the world of Jewish culture. It is therefore found at the entrance of most homes.
The Birkat haBayit is a blessing that brings serenity, joy, peace, success and all the brakhot (blessings) into every home. This segulah also allows the homes to be imbued with an atmosphere of Torah and Emuna (faith in God). The custom is to install it on one of the walls of the main room of the house.
This Birkat haBayit can be offered as a gift to your friends, family or simply at a Birkat HaBayit.
