Don’t leave home without your Shabbat candlesticks
To welcome Shabbat, Jewish women traditionally light candles on behalf of the entire family and others in the home. Originally, this candle lighting ceremony was meant to ensure that our homes are filled with light, so that people feel comfortable and that peace reigns in our homes. In the Jewish religion, this moment is called « Shalom Bayit » or « Peace in the Home ». In modern times, although our homes are already lit, the candle lighting ceremony remains central to millions of Jewish women. A moment of reflection and prayer that symbolizes the tranquility of Shabbat.
To make this moment truly special, there is nothing like original candle holders made in Israel. A model that represents the Old City of Jerusalem, all in engravings.
Can be used on Shabbat and Yom Tov. Practical: the small size and the lid allow for easy storage and transportation.
